What will be the biggest challenges in terms of technology and IT in the years ahead?
Far greater complexity in terms of product development will forge much greater links between traditional engineering services, IT and certain aspects of software development. Project handling will become increasingly agile – and work packages much more comprehensive. The challenge is to respond at lightning speed and with the utmost agility. With this in mind, there will be a need for new organisational structures and intelligent control systems. Here at Technology, we will gear up and empower ourselves and our clients to shape the technological advancement of tomorrow in a capable manner.

How has SALT AND PEPPER evolved over the years?
At great speed! I am proud that independent and established business units – such as Software, Consulting and International – have grown on the basis of our core business: SALT AND PEPPER Technology. We already foster the formation of in-house Centres of Competence, on the basis of which we provide our clients with holistic engineering services. We will continue at full throttle!

What makes SALT AND PEPPER so unique?

We attach great importance to the human factor, which underpins an appreciative, professional and motivational corporate culture. We put people centre stage and strive to nurture and develop our employees in line with their strengths and individual personalities. Each and every team member matters at SALT AND PEPPER – and has the chance to help shape the company’s future. This creates a very special spirit, which makes the company unique in my opinion.
